Near you
A day with the app
The PIE at eight in the morning. The Friday queue to the Causeway. The flash flood you only find out about when you get there. You know the story. With the app, you are the one who knows first, without searching.
Illustrative examples. The alerts you get depend on the places, routes and alerts you choose.
LTA reports an accident after the Eunos exit and the traffic behind it is already heavy. Your commute goes that way: there is still time to leave earlier or take the ECP.
LTA flags heavy traffic on the way to the Causeway. You see the cameras at the checkpoint before you set off for Johor Bahru, not when you are already in the queue.
LTA reports a road under water after an afternoon downpour. You take another way without hunting through the news.
LTA lists road works with lanes closed overnight. You find out tonight on the sofa, not at the slip road.
What you will get
Today it is one app for the expressways, another for the checkpoint cameras, a website for ERP rates and the news for the rest. In the app it is all together, filtered for where you live and where you drive. One glance and you are done.
Open the app and see straight away what is happening around you: accidents, breakdowns, heavy traffic, road works and flooded roads, from LTA's official data. All sorted by distance, with the source of each one.
Save the trips you always make, like your commute or the school run. Before the time you usually leave, the app checks for anything on the way and only tells you if there is.
Pick your places (home, work, your parents' flat) and what you want to hear about. Accidents near your places, jams on the way to the checkpoints and closures on your routes reach you without you having to look.
The map with everything that is live, LTA's traffic cameras on every expressway and at Woodlands and Tuas, and the ERP rates for your route as soon as they are published here. What you already use on the site, now in your pocket.
Turn-by-turn navigation comes in a later phase. For now the app tells you what is going on; to be guided to your destination, keep using the maps app you prefer.
Why it is different
Everything you see comes from 1 official sources, the same ones Live Roads Singapore uses and credits every day. No rumours or stray reports: every alert says where it comes from.
An accident can block an expressway in minutes, and an afternoon storm can flood a road before the evening rush. The reports exist, but they reach you through channels you are not reading while you drive. That is why a serious accident or a full closure on your route always reaches you, even during quiet hours.
You create a free account and we keep the places, routes and alerts you choose there, so we can warn you in time. We do not track where you go or keep a history of your trips. If you delete the account, everything goes with it.

We do not have a date yet and would rather not promise one. We are building it on top of what Live Roads Singapore already does every day. Everyone on the list hears first and can try it before anyone else.
Nothing. The app is free: download it, create your account and use it, without paying.
Yes, but it is free and takes a minute. The account keeps your places, your routes and your alert preferences, so the app knows what to warn you about. If you change phones, it is all there waiting for you.
We keep only what you choose: your account email, places, routes and alerts. We do not track where you go or keep a history of your trips. If you delete your account, everything in it goes too.
Yes. The app is coming to Singapore, built on the official data Live Roads Singapore already reads. There is no date yet; people on the list will be among the first to try it.
It will show what the site shows today: LTA's cameras at both checkpoints, the travel time on the BKE and AYE to the checkpoint when LTA publishes it, and accidents and jams on the way. No official source publishes the waiting time at immigration, so the app will not invent one.
iPhone and Android. You can tell us which one you use in the form, which helps us plan the testing.
Only the ones you choose. You set the places, routes and kinds of alert you care about, and you can set quiet hours, at night for example. The exception is severe alerts, like a serious accident or a full closure on your route: those always get through.
From official sources: Land Transport Authority. They are the same ones Live Roads Singapore uses on the site, and every alert shows where it came from.
We only use it to tell you about the app: first an email to confirm your sign-up, then the news that matters, like the day you can try it. We never sell it, and every email has a link to leave the list in one click. Privacy policy.
